How We Build Our Teams
We Transform IP Into Market-Focused Licensing Opportunities
A MindForce Licensing Team focuses on finding licensees, willing to pay royalty fees, for the use of IP owned by our clients. We approach technology licensing ONLY from a business and market-focused perspective as most of our project leaders combine the business savvy of seasoned MBAs with considerable technology subject matter expertise.
Our goal is to maximize the ROI for a licenseable product or service, supported by a patent or portfolio of patents, for our client.
We are about flexibility, putting together the right team of highly qualified experts for each IP technology, achieving ROI, and also cost-efficiency. For each opportunity, we build a Licensing Team, led by one or more of our consultant team leaders and tap into thousands of experienced MBAs with domain expertises from our sister firm, MBA GlobalNet, to deliver industry and functional experts when needed. We then place 100% emphasis on the business opportunity.
We accept assignments based on the firm belief by the IP Team we form that it can secure one or more licensees. Otherwise, why bother. Usually, we conduct an initial market analysis, and ask for a minimal upfront fee, to define the specific market opportunity for our team, which may include creating the marketing sales package needed to send to potential licensees. Plus, we negotiate an incentive-based backend success royalty fee.
Licensing Team Program
For each assignment where MindForce is asked to find potential licensees, it is very important for both the Client and MindForce to arrive at the same future exit structure and strategy.
Our Licensing Team's main focus is to bring the client's product/service from its initial starting place to achieve one or more licensee transactions in a reasonable time period.
